Happy week before Thanksgiving everybody!
So today I have a pretty random post for you all. While brainstorming what I wanted to write about, I thought it could be cool to do something travel related. I thought I could write about places I’ve been, but instead I decided to do something about the places I want to travel to instead! While I have traveled outside of the country (I’ve been to Canada, Mexico, and a few places in the Caribbean), I’ve never been to a different continent and I desperately want to. I actually have a long list of places I want to visit, and figured I would share some with you!
Don’t they look amazing?! I want to to to all of them so badly! If you’ve been to any of them let me know, or share where you want to travel to! Xoxo,
Last night a group of friends and I decided to have a little early Thanksgiving dinner. Really there isn’t anything “little” about Thanksgiving, but you get the gist. Anyways, I’ve heard of people having “Friendsgivings” for years, and was so excited that I finally got to partake in one! Does that mean I’m officially a grown up?
My friend Amy was the one who came up with and hosted the event, because somehow she won a Turkey and wanted to use it. We decided to make it potluck style, and each picked something to bring. I loved to bake so I decided I would contribute pies for the event. Honestly, I’ll take any excuse to bake something 😉
Everything was so yummy, and we actually had a pretty impressive spread for a bunch of college students. It was so great to be able to have a sit down dinner with all of our friends! It is sort of weird though that actual Thanksgiving is still two weeks away, I feel like I’ve already crossed it off of the holiday checklist. What are your plans for thanksgiving?
I really wish I could say I come up with what I’m about to share with you, but instead I would like to stop and take a moment to applaud the person who did. “100 Fashion Tips and Tricks Every Girl I know,” via Stylecaster.com, is a brilliant article/list I recently found on Pinterest (of course). It has some amazing tips and I knew it was one I should share (and save for myself). It is genius, and I will most definitely be referencing it, probably a lot, in the future.
Hi out there! So as promised, I wanted to share a little bit about Halloween this year. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it on here before, but my best friend from high school and I are actually roommates and share an apartment here at school. For this weekend, another good friend from high school decided she wanted to come visit to celebrate with us. We were able to do a lot during the days (shopping, saw a movie, etc.), and we went out at night. Plus, all of the costume ideas I talked about turned out really well! It was such a fun weekend, and I loved catching up with our friend from out of town. I hope you all had a great Halloween!
